Interview with Jennifer Ellisby

Jennifer Ellisby is a bingo fan from Ocean City, Maryland USA. Jennifer worked as an inspection officer for the past 10 years, but wanted to do something different with her life. So she joined a software gaming company and helped design exciting bingo games. “I was looking for something more stimulating than a purely clinical-type job – I wanted some action, a bit of a social vibe in what I was doing, so I turned to bingo gaming development,’ she explained.

‘When I get involved in a project, I dive right in. I am what they call a consummate professional. I work exceptionally hard and put in all the hours that are needed to make a success of things. I never quite realized it at the time, but a punishing work regimen is certainly not conducive to anything but work. I needed time to myself, but the work was drowning me – I couldn’t escape. My social life was balancing on a knife’s edge and my personal life didn’t exist. I would find myself completely exhausted at the day’s end, with no hope in sight for meeting anyone.’ she continued.

‘Before bingo, life at the aquatic treatment facility was becoming really tedious. Although the salary was decent, I was not feeling at all comfortable with my personal life. I wanted to feel that rush that I used to enjoy as a college student, but this job wasn’t providing it. So I turned to my favourite game - online bingo,’ she continued. ‘I fondly remember those late nights in front of the computer or in Atlantic City when I would play bingo at those illustrious bingo halls. That electric atmosphere is what I miss most.’
